In this episode, Tevia Celli is back for the second part of her and Lucca’s conversation about pivoting in life. Tevia candidly shares her perspective on the power of the pivot within your career and how she’s creatively helped lead a huge one for CycleBar's 200+ franchised indoor cycling studios around the world when all doors were shut because of COVID-19 and while racism in America is at the forefront.
As the Vice President of Experience for CycleBar Franchising, a CycleBar Senior Master Instructor, a wife and mom of two, Tevia is known for her world-renown impact, influence and guidance in the indoor cycling and fitness industry. In 1998, she started the first high-end indoor cycling boutique studio called Body & Soul Workout, and soon after, she became an instructor. Beginning in 2013, she worked for Flywheel Sports as the Creative Director of the West Coast and opened all of their LA studios. In 2015, she started her career with CycleBar as the Director of Education where she created their education curriculum and ride formats for the 200+ franchised studios. In this conversation, Lucca and Tevia discuss pivoting within your career during COVID and while racism in America is at the forefront; how the CycleBar Franchising team and her creatively led and will continue to lead a pivot for the 200+ franchised cycling studios around the world; creating room for joy and humility by letting go of your ego; knowing you are so much more than your career role and title; the importance of having a plan B in business; the beauty of unexpected partnership and collaboration; and how lasting external change starts within.
