Jillian Davis was raised in a traditional family where she was taught from a young age to get a college education, find a good job, work and be happy. After volleyball dominated her life until the age of 22, she found herself working for a Fortune 500 company with great pay, amazing people and everything that a “good job” entails but something was missing. Her obsession with comedy led her to take improv and acting classes after her day job, and she soon realized she found what she’d been looking for in a career and in life- a space that gave her the freedom to be creative and authentic, constantly challenged her and was filled with the interests that brought her joy. Two and a half years later after taking consistent small steps in the entertainment industry towards her north star, Jillian was ready to take the leap of faith and pursue a life in her passion place as an actress, writer and SoulCycle Instructor. Get ready to laugh, cry and fall in love with one of the sweetest souls ever in a conversation that is relatable to all walks of life. In episode 8, Jillian shares how she lives through her five core values of challenge, authenticity, adventure, freedom and service daily; her journey to falling in love with the SoulCycle community and becoming a Senior Instructor; how trying new things led her to her current career; why down time and relaxation is important to let ideas happen; and how she constantly leans into the words of “Just do it.” Get to know her beyond her episode on Instagram @jilliedavis.
